Visual Identity ––– Pure Effect
Brief
Pure Effect is a company offering a spray that can clean textiles based on biotechnology, the first of its kind. The brief was to create a visual identity and design system that clarifies what the product is and what it can achieve.
Strategy
Consumers find it hard to understand the product and its actual effects. As a result, they won’t use it in their laundry routine. Our aim was to position Pure Effect as a leading star, encouraging consumers to make a small shift in their routine.
A radical lifestyle change is not necessary to incorporate bacteria into everyday life. Pure Effect helps consumers take a step toward significant change.

Solution
To visualize this small shift, we have taken our starting point from the first pioneer on Earth – the microorganism. The small shift is expressed through changes in colors and shapes. The logo is inspired by the microorganism, making a bold statement about what they can achieve with the product.
From the fragrance notes, we find the colors, while the typography reflects the round and soft shapes in the logo. Together, this creates a distinctive design system that helps consumers understand the pure effect.
